The Idea

Built because nothing else fit

I'm a composer. My work lives in Dropbox - demos, mixes, stems, reference tracks, things I'm not done with. Dropbox's own player works, but it doesn't have the tools I needed. And every other app I tried was either too limited or built for something else entirely.

So I built the thing I wanted: a proper listening environment for your own audio, with the controls that actually matter for critical listening.

AudRig connects directly to your Dropbox or iCloud Drive, respects your folder structure, and stays out of the way.

Who It's For

For anyone who makes audio

Primary

Composers & producers

Game audio, film, library, pop - if you're bouncing stems and comparing mixes in the field, AudRig gives you the reference tools to do it properly on your phone.

Primary

Mix engineers

A/B up to three mix versions instantly, check mono compatibility, isolate a frequency band. The same critical listening habits you practice at the desk - on the go.

Also

Sound designers

Your sfx library is in the cloud. Browse folders as playlists, loop a sample, scrub to a specific moment - without pulling out your laptop.

Also

Anyone with audio files

Recordings, podcasts, voice memos, field recordings - if you have audio in Dropbox or iCloud Drive that isn't on any streaming service, AudRig can play it the way it deserves.

Common Questions

FAQ

No - you can use the free version of AudRig as a fully functional music player. You can browse your Dropbox or iCloud Drive library, play files, add folders and download up to 10 files for offline use. AudRig All ($9.99, one-time) unlocks the professional listening tools: A/B Mode, Waveform, Freq Mode, Loop Mode, Mono Mode, Speed Control and unlimited offline sync.
AudRig supports Dropbox and iCloud Drive. With Dropbox, AudRig reads from a dedicated folder (Dropbox/AudRig/) and any other folders you add via the + button. With iCloud Drive, you choose which folders to add yourself - no fixed path, and no extra login needed. It uses the iCloud account already on your device.
Most regular music players work with a streaming service or a local device library. AudRig is designed for your own audio files stored in Dropbox or iCloud Drive - demos, mixes, stems, recordings. More importantly, it includes professional listening tools like A/B comparison, frequency isolation and loop verification to actually help you work with your audio.
A/B Mode lets you load up to three audio files - say, three mixes of the same song - and switch between them instantly. All files are loaded into memory and play at the same position, so you can hear the difference exactly where it matters. You can also run a trial: shuffle the A/B assignment randomly and listen without knowing which is which. All tools (freq mode, loop, speed control, mono mode) work in A/B mode.
No. AudRig All is a one-time purchase. Pay once, own the features permanently. No recurring charges, no annual fees.
